Hello friends!

Thanks again for following along with my adventure here in Gainesville! Your prayers and your continued encouragement are such a blessing! I am so excited to share with you how God has been opening doors for ministry connections and for opportunities to serve in the community!

Last week I was introduced to an amazing ministry called Phylla House. (Please check out Phylla House at: http://phyllahouse.com/about/). It is a safe place for women to come and to be vulnerable with one another. It is a place where women can encounter the unconditional love of Jesus. It is a place of healing. It is a place of worship. It is a place where lies are shattered and replaced by truth. It is a place where women are encouraged and empowered to walk in the hope and freedom of their true identity. It is a place of community, friendship, and laughter.

I am so thankful for the opportunity to serve the women of Phylla House! My role will be to help co-facilitate Bible studies twice a week and to help co-facilitate worship for our meetings. I am also extremely excited that through my partnership with Phylla House, I will be able to use my experience as a hairstylist to love and serve women in a local shelter by providing them with free hair cuts! I can’t wait to build relationships with these incredible daughters of the King! And I have great expectancy that their lives will be forever transformed by the power of His love for them! I am so blessed to be a part of what God is doing through this ministry!

God knows my passions. He knows the desires of my heart. And through this ministry, I am able to engage and serve out of them all! The Lord is so good! My encouragement for you this week is this: Ask yourself what your passion is! And once you know what that is, I would challenge you to serve others out of that passion! It will greatly bless those that you serve and it will bring you great joy in the process!

Love you guys!
