Today I woke up on an actual mattress in a real bed. I ate homemade granola and sipped an amazing cup of BREWED coffee for breakfast. I had access to wifi without having to put on my shoes. All of the little things that I used to take for granted 2 months ago, I was beyond thankful for this morning!
My team just arrived in L'viv, Ukraine. We will be staying with a missionary family from Texas who is working on building a retreat center/temporary housing for missionaries and religious leaders in the local community. My team will be helping two other World Race teams with construction projects for the next week before we head off to Moldova. It has been awesome to see familiar faces! 🙂
The last two weeks in Zdolbuniv, Ukraine were so encouraging! My team and I helped the local church with their Vacation Bible School program every morning. And then us "Americanskis" taught English classes every afternoon. I was also asked to lead worship with my teammate Tyler everyday, which was a huge leap out of my comfort zone (I love to sing in the car and the shower…not so much in front of lots of people…haha). The most incredible experience was just to see how much the Father loves and pursues me everyday. While I was busy teaching 5-13 year old kiddos how to say "Hello my name is____." My Father was teaching me what my name really is and revealing to me who I am as His beloved daughter. God was showering me with love, so that I could better love on all of His Ukranian children. Christ has given me countless opportunities this month to love through HIS heart WITHIN me when it doesn't make sense for my flesh to love. It was humbling and incredibly inspiring to see that people love MY Jesus…. in a little town that I couldn't even point out to you on a map…. thousands of miles away from home. And I am so grateful that I was able experience that we truly are all part of one Kingdom family in a very tangible way.

Thank you all for your continued prayers, encouragement and support! If there is anything that I can be praying for you or your family about please send me an email! Love you all!
