India, Nepal, Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania.
The first 9 months, 9 countries I encountered on the world race, and the countries I have all seen. We have been faced with heat, heat, HEAT in all of these nine countries. With the exception of Vietnam, of all countries, where my team was exceptionally blessed with a month of cool weather. But we are encountering something much different as a squad coming up. We are soon traveling to Northeastern Europe, and by soon I mean 2 weeks. Our next assigned place to travel and minister to is the countries of Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. We are the first World Race Teams to these locations which brings excitement and anticipation of the unknown. These countries are neighbors to their chilly friend, Russia. Since we/I have encountered hot countries and climates thus far in our travels, me, along with most of my squad, have no clothes prepared to embrace the chilly, 30-40 degree weather of Northeast Europe! I am asking for support to purchase appropriate clothing once we arrive in Riga, Latvia. In my pack currently I have approximately 2 long sleeve shirts and one pair of long pants.
I am excited to see what God has planned for me in these final months of the race! I am sad to be leaving Africa in just a short few weeks and am cherishing every second I am here on this continent.
