Hello and welcome to some snippets of my time in Costa Rica:)

Jumpin for joy like maniacs because it was our first night at the base

if you smell Xinia’s plantains coming from the kitchen– it’s a GOOD day!

we steamed our faces this night and Nathan Chandler decided to join our kitchen spa time

One of many cool coffee shops

One time I thought it’d be fun to run into a door, get a concussion, and spend my entire birthday at the ER

I came home to my bff’s waiting with hugs, the squad surprising me with cake and lots of laughter.

Bern found a random bag of clothes and well… you can see what happened next

I highly recommend dancing in the rain

my brother always told me “don’t cry over spilled milk”

This is Alfredo, our bus driver, he’s incredible. There’s a lot of words I could say about this man. Maybe one day I’ll write a book and dedicate a chapter to him.

One day during ministry we stopped at a Taco Bell and met the former Costa Rican president!

Late night kitchen hangouts are some of my fav Costa base memories

This is Bere. She was one of the Universidad students I met. She joined CRU and showed me so much of what being a light on campus looks like. On our last day she took us to see a sloth on campus (look closely). I’ll write about Bere in my book one day too.

Angela decided to be spontaneous one day and shave her head.

Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!

“PAULLLLLLL!! YEAH PAUL!!”

When Allen asks you to do the mud run… you do the mud run.

Costa Rica, you are colorful and so beautiful.

With love, Cass
