Hello friends, new and old!
I want to share a little bit about me in this section- this is mainly for some fun facts, so check out my other blog posts to learn more about where I am in my hearts adventure!
I’ll continue the theme of 11 in 11… soo…
11 fun-to-knows:
1. I really appreciate (adore, really) everything about flowers- I want them in my room, bathroom, kitchen, hair, above my bed… to be my bed. There is a dandelion root coffee recipe I want to try, too!
2. Hiking and/or picnicking at any mountain is where I want to be.
3. Top 3 Favorite bands (out of many): Josh Garrels, NEEDTOBREATHE, and a classic jam-out go-to- The Rocket Summer.
4. Type of movies I appreciate the most: Sci-Fi/action, Musicals, Classics.
5. Top 3 Authors, male and female (This is hard!!): Catherine Marshal, Corrie ten Boom, Jan Karen and C.S. Lewis, William Lane Craig, Michael Phillips.
6. I think pregnancy is absolutely fascinating and really look forward to working with women during their pregnancy, labor and delivery in any fashion- but hopefully as a Doula!
7. I like trying food experiments- it doesn’t aalways end well BUT we can’t knock it till we try it, right? (Today it was spaghetti sauce on an egg sandwich- this was a good one!)
8. I would rather go to bed at 9:30 and wake up at 6. Quiet mornings are so enjoyable, but only if I slept enough (which I often do!).
9. I like my coffee black and strong, and recently I have begun adding a dash of cinnamon! Yumm!
10. Artsy stuff is fun to dabble with- quilting, drawing, poetry, painting- if I am inspired, I really enjoy it!
11. I really enjoy playing games! Board games, car games, sport games, card games… and my favorite? -Hand and Foot. Yes, team maties, you will learn this card game and play with me! (At least I am hoping and seriously praying! No pressure! 
)
A little nutshell about my hearts adventure would be this:
Jesus loves me, like seriously loves me- I have received healing and joy from Him, and expect to learn to hear Him so much better during this journey as He breaks down me to build me up His way. His yolk is easy and His burden is light (unlike my burdens!). I believe He would have His best for everyone I know, too! So, I am going to share His love and His light with other people, and this season, it is happening on the World Race.
