Today is my Daddy's 51st birthday today.
I just wanted to share with everyone how unbelievably supportive this man is!
My dad is having a hard time with me going the race. He wants me to go for me and to serve the Lord but he wants so badly to just grab me and keep me in his arms forever as his little girl. He wants to be selfish and keep me from going but he knows its the path God has set forth for me, so he won't. Even though hes struggling letting me go on an 11 month mission trip to a different country he is STILL doing all he can to help find me financial support. He is calling all the churches he can think of to see if they can help in any way!
He's talking to anyone he may know to see if they can help or have any ideas on ways I can fundraise.
It is because of this man (and my mother) that I have found the love of God and because this man has shown me so much compassion and love that I am the person I am.
My parents have ALWAYS told me that I can do anything I want.
They always made me feel like I was special and I was worth something.
Without their love and their belief in me I wouldn't be able to do something so unlike me like an 11 month mission trip.
I have two of the most supportive parents in the world and I am forever grateful.
