Hi friends!  Somehow time has absolutely FLOWN by and I am in Month three of this crazy adventure called the World Race!  What a journey it has been thus far.  My heart is happy beyond words because Month 3 means that I am writing to you from within the borders of a country that became home to me in the summer of 2012 – Bolivia!!

Just a quick update since it’s been awhile – P squad finished our all squad month in Trujillo, Peru oh-so-strong and these people have truly become a family.  The Lord worked in and through us all in some incredible ways in February and, again, goodbyes are so, so hard.  All 57 of us are currently recovering from a 40 hour bus trip by spending one last night together in a hostal in La Paz, Bolivia.  Shoutout to Zach and Christina, our INCREDIBLE logistics team, for getting us all here safely!  Unfortunately, all squad month only happens once so we will be splitting up into teams like we did in Month 1, except….March is Manistry month for the men of P squad!  AKA the boys get a break from us ladies for a month and get to go off and do their own, separate ministry as one big team of testosterone.

So what does that mean for us ladies?  Well, the previously all-female teams will stay the same, but things got shaken up a little for those of us who are on co-ed teams!  The women of Team Awaken have been combined with the fabulous ladies of Team Dunamis (Sally, Lauryn, Christina, and Amber) for month 3 of ministry!  We will be heading over the river and through the woods (no, literally – we will be in a canoe for six hours through the jungle) to Rurrenabaque, Bolivia!  Try saying that 3 times fast 🙂  We haven’t been given specific details on our ministry partner yet, but I am excited to see what the Lord has in store for us!  From the looks of things, this may shape up to be a real World Race kind of month with VERY little access to wifi, civilization, and/or anything that is comfortable and familiar.  Please continue to be praying for us as we start a new chapter of serving the Lord and loving His people!  To everyone back home – I am missing you all more than you could possibly know!  You are loved and the updates that you send via Facebook, Viber, email, etc. are so enjoyed so please keep ’em coming!

With love and wanderlust,
Cassady
