**This blog post is for anyone who is wondering how to donate to my World Race! It has been reposted to bump it up to the top of my blog!**
Go ahead, belt it out – “…to raise funds, for Cassady!!” Wait, what are you saying about defeating some Huns? You’re saying that the most epic Mulan song isn’t a battle cry to help me fundraise for The World Race? Huh, I could’ve sworn that’s how it went.
Okay, okay, I’ll spare you any further corny Disney jokes. The purpose of this post is to get down to some serious business – sharing with you all how to financially support this epic journey that the Lord has called me to! So without further ado, here’s a breakdown of all the ways you can donate to my World Race adventure:
There are 4 ways to donate, and a few specific instructions to each method.
1) Credit/Debit Card – This is definitely the most convenient and efficient way to donate because it can be done online and only takes 2-3 days to process. There are now NO processing fees if you choose to donate this way and ALL donations are tax-deductible! You will receive an electronic acknowledgement of your gift for tax purposes. You can make a one-time, monthly, or quarterly donation using this method, but if you’re considering a monthly donation, you might find option #3 more enticing! To donate via credit or debit card, you can either scroll to the top of this page where you will see my fundraising status and an orange “Support Me!” link, or you can go to the tab bar on the left side of this page and click on the 7th tab from the top which also says, “Support Me!” Here’s a picture to make sure you don’t have any trouble finding these links. 🙂
2) Bank Draft – This is another convenient and efficient method, but there is a 2% processing fee for donations made via bank draft. To donate this way you would go to the exact same links that I mentioned above for donating by credit or debit card, and simply choose bank draft when the window opens and you are prompted to do so. You will also receive electronic acknowledgement of your donation for tax purposes if you choose to donate via bank draft.
3) Dynapay – **for monthly supporters only!** – This method is particularly exciting because there are NO processing fees AND your entire donation is still 100% tax deductible! Here’s the deal: Dynapay is for monthly supporters only, and when you sign up it will automatically send your monthly donation of any amount straight from your account to mine. Just make sure you set and END DATE for your donation, otherwise it will keep sending money from your account even after I can no longer receive donations to my personal account (I have to be fully funded by July 31, 2015 so that would most likely be your end date). You can also call to cancel at any time. To sign up for Dynapay monthly donations, go to http://adventures.org/dynapay/ and complete the form. If you choose to donate monthly, I’d love to know that so I can update my records so please contact me via email, Facebook, commenting on this blog, or by phone.
4) Check/Money Order – This is another fee free method of donating! Checks or money orders must be mailed to the Adventures in Missions office and my support card MUST be included in the envelope! Here is a link to my support card in google doc format that is accessible to anyone with the link so you can print it on your own from here: Cassady Schulte’s Support Card If you’d like for me to give you a pre-printed support card, please let me know by emailing me at [email protected] and include the best method for sending the card to you. Checks take about 2 weeks to process, so please keep in mind my fundraising deadlines when deciding which method of donating to use! So there you have it! Those are the four ways that you can donate to my World Race adventure! I can’t say enough how grateful I am to be blessed by such supportive friends and family who are more than willing to help me live out the Lord’s calling on my life!!! You all are truly incredible.
