The last time I was in Bolivia, I witnessed first hand the traumatic effects of a belief that children born with special needs are not worthy of life or love. Today, the Lord showed me that He is moving in this country and changing the hearts of these people. This is just a glimpse of the joyful celebration we had today for a little boy named Kalel who comes to the daycare we’re working at this month. He has Down Syndrome, and as you can see this precious boy is oh-so-loved by his family, just as every child should be! Be still my heart.
