Dear Friends and Family
I have truly seen God work on this mission around the world. I have seen young adults waken up and break off generational curses. I have seen young adults love who have never been loved by family. I have seen young adults open their hearts and truly be vulnerable with other young adults when they’ve only known people to gossip about them at home. I have seen young adults realize that being filled with the holy spirit is different than living a spirit filled life. I have seen young adults sacrifice off time to visit neighbors and truly invest in their lives. I have seen young adults believe in the power of God and pray for healing over our squad. I have seen young adults sacrifice sleep to walk one another into a closer relationship with God. I have seen young adults study the word and disect it with one another, not believing what we’ve been taught until we see it for ourselves. I have seen young adults go up to pastors who have preached and have conversations with him afterwards to really get a better understanding of God’s word. I have seen young adults stand on chairs and declare great things for family and church members back home. I have seen young adults give their lunch up to hungry people on the streets. I have seen young adults put their money together to help out one who is in need.
Young adults are our future. God has used Adventures in Missions to bring us into a closer encounter with God. God has used Adventures in Missions to expand our territories so we can further the Kingdom of God. God has used Adventures in Missions to teach us what real community is.
Sadly there are people on my squad who are not fully funded and will be asked to go home if they do not raise their money. I’m asking that you see what God has done and allow Him to do something thru you to help Young Adults stay on the right path.
