WHAT IS THE POINT OF MISSION WORK?
1. The greatest mission ever known was when God looked down and sent His Son (John 3:16)
2. The world will never be brought to Christ unless we bring Christ to the world. (2 Cor 5:20)
3. Jesus taught that missions was the way to make disciples.
4. We cannot be happy unless we’re totally committed to telling others of Christ
~Romans 1:16: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
SO HOW CAN YOUR SUPPORT HELP?
1. It was your support in my mission to teach English in China that opened the opportunity for students to ask questions about Jesus when at the time China was a closed country.
2. It was your support in my mission to Ethiopia that opened the door to love Tigist, a newly widow and to build a bond with Semeng, our house keeper.
3. It was your support in my mission to Oneida Baptist Institute in Eastern KY, that gave international students from many parts of the world a chance to experience hands on the love of God and make decisions for Him.
4. It was your support in my mission to New Zealand that on my first Sunday there a young Asian girl gave her heart to Jesus.
5. It was your support in my mission to Australia that allowed me to love the young Aboriginal children in a way their parents had never shown.
6. It was your support in my mission to the Philippines that allowed typhoon victims to see how God can stretch a little bit of food to feed all those children who were in line.
7. It was your support in my mission to Cambodia that allowed my team to teach young victims of sex slavery about how much God loves them.
8. It was your support in my mission to Thailand that offered redemption to the prostitutes on the poles in the bars.
9. It was your support in my mission to Kenya that brought a group of widows from the church together to for the first time open up to one another and offer support.
10. It was your support in my mission to Tanzania that loved and cared for the family of a Pastor who needed real love the most.
11. It was your support in my mission to Uganda that allowed victims of rape and abuse to experience a freedom like never before.
12. It was your support in my mission to Romania that helped farmers store food for the winter.
13. It was your support in my mission to Czech Republic that allowed us to teach relationship versus religion to a bar promoter on a six-person bike.
14. It was your support in my mission to Ukraine that helped provide relief to overworked camp leaders.
Without your support, I wouldn’t have seen God work the way I did in 13 countries around the world. I’ve been asked to write a play in Spanish that will present the gospel of Jesus Christ. I need you to help rescue the perishing.
