Before our car is parked in a space, children and adults are anxious for us to get out.  Some tightly grip their bowls in one hand as they high five us with the other.  Some mothers quickly get their children lined up for photos.  Some older women bring their cuts and bruises to the nurse to get bandaged up.  Some wave quickly as they finish their basketball or pool games.  Most of them just cut one another in line just to get a bowl of rice and soup.  And the moment we’ve dished the last of the food, we rush to teach new songs, practice the alphabet and phrases.

Join us for a moment as we go through the Filipino communities and feed.  Thanks to Jeanne Bensch for providing this video.
