Prayer for God’s Family

Through this journey god is revealing more of his self to me each minute of the day. God gives us power and we need to build relationships with Him and ask for more of Him. 

I come from a gigantic family of believers. As I prayed for each of them today and my church family I felt strongly God saying to us all, “I’m in more places than a church building. Invite me into your daily lives. Talk to me. Share your dreams with me and make my desires your desires. Quit building up earthly treasures for yourselves and listen to the plan I have for you. Trust me as I provide. Become a community with one another. Pot luck dinners means nothing if you aren’t feeding off my word, encouraging one another and speaking life into one another. You are the church event without walls. You are my bride; so be pure. Live for me, not the world. Quit tearing each other down but build one another up. Be accountable for one another. Speak in truth and love. Love as I have loved you. Give as I have given to you, and don’t ask for anything in return. Take what you’ve learned and apply it. Don’t sit on knowledge of the word and fight over religious matters but build relationships and walk in the Spirit.”
