These first three months on the
World Race have been an awakener for me.
God has shown me areas of my life to be stripped away. After being freed from the bondage of
my past hurts, God showed me that I needed to symbolize that freedom. In Ethiopia women cut off their hair to
symbolize the loss of a loved one.
God told me to cut off my hair to symbolize the death of my past. Because He has used my teammates to
help in this pruning process, each of them spoke into my life as they cut
sections of my hair. As the new
hair grows, God is using my team to water my growth in Him. They have stepped alongside me as I no
longer have religion but a RELATIONSHIP with the Lord.
