We had all plans to take photos and get video of people telling us how they see God in Prague.  I ran into this group of Ethiopian women.  They were ever too pleased to hear Jeanne and I talk about our mission to Prauge.  Not sure if they were believers, we took the opportunity to talk about who God is to us and how he has provided for us this year.

I couldn’t help but think of my Ethiopian family when I saw them.

Since I’ve been away or family has expanded.  In 2007 Eden and Beimnet, Ethiopian students, became apart of our family through me working at Oneida Baptist Institute in Eastern, Kentucky.  We have spent every holiday together and consider one another sisters.  This September my mom picked up the rest of their family from the Lexington airport.  They recently became citizens of the United States.  God has brought our families together.

I can’t wait to see them once I’m home and welcome them to America.  It is with their support that I’m able to serve the world.  I had no idea when I’d be able to visit Ethiopia again so I love how God keeps bringing Ethiopia to me.
