Every car, motorbike, building, street light appeared to be moving rapidly as my senses were heightened. My eyes wouldn’t stay inside of the pick-up truck but on the night’s surroundings. Anticipation consumed my heart beat; the pounding increased after arriving to the night clubs. My ears couldn’t bear to listen to one more account of what it would be like for my feet were leading the path to what it WAS like

My nose cried for relief as smoke forced itself through its passageway. All but my big toes curled like ribbons on a Christmas present as lady men grasped the attention of tourists on table tops. My lungs expanded when the nine or ten year old boy was dragged into a bar by a drunken woman old enough to be his grandma. My mouth attempted to twist to the left side as the past middle aged white men clasped the hands of their wives while their necks twisted 45 degrees to the half-naked women gyrating on the bottom of the poles. My stomach prepared for vomit thinking of the images to remain for years in the heads of the young Thai boys selling doo dads through the main street of the bars. My hands greeted the hands of young women, sliding pale pink checkers down Connect Four and throwing dice to win Jack Pot. Lemon Nestea collided with laughter on my tongue during my interactions with the ladies.

My eyes showed me, my ears led me, and my hands confirmed that God was all over tonight. Sex is all over this land but God sent my team to Thailand to be the one not asking for sex – just bringing the joy of the Lord into this darkness. WE ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
