I was so excited to be doing ministry with Hannah today.

She had prepared several colored paper hearts.  Her vision: hand someone a heart, ask who they love and take a picture of them.  It was a beautiful vision that came to be in front of our eyes.  Only one person turned us away today and it was only because she couldn’t speak English.  Passing out these hearts we met women and men not only from Czech Republic but South Korea, America and Russia. It struck me how friendly people were.

Of the seven Czech Republicans we talked to, one of them proclaimed Jesus as the one she loves.  We were able to encourage her.  Before leaving she said she was no longer nervous about her upcoming meeting.  We were encouraged by her and yet she felt blessed by us giving her a heart.  This project was so beautiful seeing the faces of people light up when we told them they are loved by God, when we told them that we love them.

Talking to people about God should not be left to the ministers.  If you know Jesus, ask him to send someone across your path to have a conversation with.  You don’t have to be able to recite the bible, nor do you have to be articulate with your words.  Ask God to speak through you.  More than anything ask God to love through you.  Think of all the unbelievers you know.  Your co workers, exercise group, friends in the coffee shop, teachers, neighbors, family members.  As believers it is our responsibility to bring God to those who don’t know him.  Start with a heart.  Show love to someone today and everyday.  See where it leads.  You may be surprised.
