Seeing the passion and dedication of youth and young adult
s
in Kenya has placed a burning desire in me to see more active participation
from youth and young adults in my community.
From the time we arrived in
Kisimu, besides sleeping, there has not been a moment that we haven’t been
around youth/young adults. Waking
up in the morning we are often greeted by Lydia washing our laundry. Going to church in the mornings there
can be young adults found doing accounting or something to help the
church. In the afternoons it is
young adults who accompany us to the schools to preach. In the evenings we come home to young
adults cooking our dinner. Before
leaving we pray together and bless one another. On Saturdays young adults evangelize with us door to door
and in the afternoons I have choir rehearsal with the young adults. On Sunday we help young adults as they
are the Sunday school teachers of each class. Young adults are active here in Kenya.

in Nairobi. Young adults,

poets, comedians and more. This
team did not miss a single beat.

I watched as they ministered to
the High school students. Nearly
one hundred students made decisions for God that day. I evangelized alongside of them going door to door. Twenty or so made decisions for Christ
that day. They also ministered to
the prisoners, leading them into worship and praise of God, praying for and
with them.
On Sunday this group brought even
more life into Deliverance Church on Kibos road. They worshipped the Lord in Spirit and in truth, using the
gifts, talents and emotions He gave them.
This group of young people truly blessed my soul. I hope to
