I’ve been battling God today on a few issues. One of them is the issue of working with the girls on such a sensitive subject. I prayed asking for direction. God sent me to Jeremiah and said,
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations…to all to whom I send you, you shall go, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you…I have put my words in your mouth. I have set you this day over nations and kingdoms, to pluck up and to break down, to destroy and to overthrow, to build and to plant…I am watching over my word to perform it.”
This afternoon Madam Bonnie announced to our team that she would be starting a Safe House in our name in this area. This will be a safe haven for girls in danger for refusing FGM.
