I am so excited at what God is doing and who He has been doing it through. He is so amazing!
This past weekend I had a Breakfast Benefit and Silent Auction. People from all over, some I didn’t even know, donated items to be bid on in the auction. After hours of work, having people help me set up the church fellowship hall, the doors were opened and people were rolling in. As people walked in they browsed the tables looking at name brand purses, dvds, gift certificates to hair salons and gyms, pies, fudge and cake. At one point there was a back and forth on the free massage. Everyone was having a great time as they ate sausage, bacon, eggs and pancakes. By the end of the night nearly $700 was raised.
The next morning I drove to West KY to speak at my cousin’s church for a Women’s Conference. God gave me the opportunity to talk about how I’ve seen him work in China, Ethiopia and the Appalachia KY. It was amazing. God blessed me with $350 there.
When I came home there was a $100 check and cash that someone had left.
I only have a little under $5,000 left to be completely supported. It’s so amazing seeing God work.
Today I recieved our departure date of Jan 3, 2010. I’m so anxious to go and do service around the world for the cause of Christ.
