Hi all! My name is Casie.

HOMETOWN

I grew up in the small town of Sevierville, Tn. I’m about three hours from Nashville, Tn.

SALVATION

I have a twin sister and an older brother. I had a rough family life around high school, but I did get saved in my Sophomore year! After getting saved, I found a prayer group in my high school that was actually founded by a group of alumni. After I got saved I found a home church. The youth group I attended offered the opportunity to go to a Summer Christian Camp. One of the Altar Calls we had targeted students to respond to God’s Calling on their lives. That is when God called me to be a missionary.

DISCIPLESHIP

Not longer after graduating high school, God led me to go to a Discipleship Program called North Carolina Master’s Commission for three years. This program gave me the privilege to do hands-on ministry. (i.e. Pray for strangers in Walmart, oversea mission trips, help our local community through raking the lawns, etc.)

The program would end right before summer, just like a county school would. During the first two years of the program, during the Summer, I took part in a ministry called Son’spot. I was a missionary who got to do even more hands on ministry. In this ministry however, students from countries all over the world would come to work in this particular area and send the money back home to their families for the summer. Due to funds being tight for them, we had the opportunity to serve them breakfast and dinner for free. That gave a doorway to share Jesus in our daily lives to them.

I enjoy doing ministry, but I enjoy even more, to get to know the person I’m talking to. I love hearing stories about peoples’ lives. It gives a sense of where they came from and what they’ve been through.

HOBBIES

I love to paint, workout, and cook. I love going to coffee shops and hanging out with friends. I enjoy trying new things that have nothing to do with heights or water. I will try sports if it involves a group of friends. I would love to learn how to play Gaga ball. Settlers of Catan is my all time favorite board game!
