Sometimes, the hardest thing God asks us to do is to face our fears.

Sometimes, the best thing God asks us to do is to face our fears.

 What’s holding you back?

I don’t know what that looks like for you, but there is freedom on the other side of your fear.

What’s more important to you? What God says is possible in His name? Or your (possibly incorrect) belief that it’s too hard, that you’ll “always be that way”?

As you adventure through this life with God, chances are He will continue calling you to higher and higher platforms.

It was no coincidence that our squad leader, Joey, spoke about ascending to new platforms at our most recent debrief.

It was brought up how we often linger on platforms, procrastinating and becoming inactive because we fear the unknown. Because we want to feel good about ourselves, we justify. “I’ll just sunbathe on this platform. I’ll just play cards on this platform. The Lord loves me right where I’m at. He’s in this game of cards.”

While all of those things are true, change does not happen in our comfort zone. The Holy Spirit has been named the comforter because it’s God’s nature to frequently call us into uncomfortable situations.

What if God wants us to step out of our fears, but simultaneously press into discomfort?

What do we think we will accomplish if we refuse to position ourselves in a place where we need His help?

What could happen if we just JUMP??
