Our God is so good!

I hosted a yard sale at my parents house this past weekend, and it helped me raise over $1500 to put towards the World Race. Additionally, I still have several truckloads left of stuff to sell! I will probably do another sale mid-summer, and also sell leftover items online.

I want to thank the numerous people that helped me out so much:

-My friend Sadie for pulling an all nighter pricing/organizing with me!

-Colee and Brooklynne who helped during the sale

-My little sister Jenni who also pulled an overnighter baking numerous batches of cookies for the treatbags.

-My mom and dad for letting me clean out their basement, use their house for the sale, and helping me with several truckloads of stuff afterwards

-Sadie and Daisy for allowing me to store remaining items in their garage until my next sale

-The numerous families and individuals who cleaned out their homes to donate to my sale: The Bimroses, the O’Connell’s, Mary, Alicia, Sadie, Colee, Brooklynne, my mom’s numerous co-workers, and if I missed anyone I am sorry! Please know that you are appreciated!

I mean to grab a few pictures during the sale but I was so busy that I completely forgot.

Here’s a few photos of all the stuff that was donated:

^^ My mom was so patient with the donations taking over the whole house.

^^ So much more stuff in the basement

^^ Just a portion of what was left after the sale.

^^ If anyone needs a bedroom set, this is still available. The ping pong table is for sale too 🙂

A Few Fun Facts:

I’m waiting on a few donations to come through, but once everything is in my account, I will have $6,300 of the $16,255 needed for this trip.

37 days of ministry have been sponsored.

26 individuals and families have generously donated towards this trip

2 families are supporting me on a monthly level

How to Get Involved:

1.) Donate items to my next sale. (Either late June or mid July)

2.) Choose a special day and sponsor a day of ministry in honor of it. ($50 donation)

3.) Monthly support at any giving level

4.) Subscribe to my blog so you’ll stay connected to what God is doing through this trip

5.) Join the prayer team (I’ll have more details later, but I’m interested in setting up a team to email the specific nitty-gritty prayer requests for me and my squad once we get on the field.)

As always, thank you, thank you, thank you for your support and prayers. I’m not sure words adequately express how much that means to me. Your support is making this journey a reality.
