Hey friends!
I wanted to share with y’all about something God has been speaking to me lately. I started back school about 4 weeks ago and it’s already been a lot. I was struggling with being anxious and nervous for really no reason. I didn’t want to go to school or do anything because I was on the verge of tears. I finally had had enough of that and took it all to the Lord. I told him what was going on and how I was feeling just like He was right there with me. He is truly my best friend. He put a verse in my head and that was Philippians 4:6 “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.”.
Now, this is a verse I grew up hearing and singing about but it wasn’t until I was struggling with being anxious that the verse really had an impact in my life. I think it’s really neat how we hear things and they may not mean a lot to us in the moment but as soon as we really need it, God pops it right in to our heads and hearts. It’s always there for us. I’m so thankful I serve a God who is always there to listen to me and gives me comfort. What am amazing God he is. I’m happy to share that after talking with him and making some decisions in my life, I haven’t been having those feelings anymore. God is so good!
