Hello!
Namibia has been a challenging, yet amazing month. I have been more challenged to grow more this month than any other time in my life.
I’ve danced with kids that have the most joy you will ever see, and I’ve cried many tears. I’ve realized things in my life that I want to let go of, and celebrated things that God has helped me walk out of. Through all of the things that have made up this month so far, one thing the Lord is reminding me of is to let Him be the main thing. Because it’s easy to get caught up in so many details of life. But at the end of the day, He is Lord and that will never change.
So, as we prepare to celebrate Christmas here at the orphanage, that is where I want my heart to be; not focused on what I don’t have, or worrying about the details of life. To just be present here and love with all that I have. I encourage you all at home to do the same; because something that I’ve realized so much while on the Race is that no moment other than this one are promised to us. So, let’s celebrate together Jesus’ birth! Remembering to be thankful and to love fiercely. I’m praying for all of you at home as you experience this Holiday season, and I know God will bless you with His peace and joy.
