Hey Friends! It’s the 11th today, so here are 11 things preparing for the World Race has taught me! Please consider supporting me for this mission God has placed on my heart, I still need $2800 to launch with my squad in July! Enjoy!
1. That I truly love and appreciate my country and the many blessings I have here; my wonderful family, friends, and comforts. I went to a Dierks Bentley concert and cried during the song “I Hold On”. Like a baby. It was awesome. Preparing to leave has made me so much more appreciative.
2. That my fear of bugs and insects is real. Pray for me.
3. That my fear of bugs and insects is real. PRAY FOR ME.
4. That it doesn’t matter what you’ve been through or what you’ve done; God can and would LOVE to use you to change the world.
5. That maxi skirts and chacos are about to become my best friends, and I can’t wait!
6. That many people seem to think that on the World Race I’ll be literally running and competing for a prize. I will not be running (God willing!), and I won’t be winning anything.
7. That God has hand-picked my squad for the Race, and they are a huge blessing to me already.
8. That I am SO thankful for the people who are praying for me throughout this process. So. Thankful.
9. That time goes extremely fast when you’re preparing for the Race. It’s crazy.
10. That I’m excited to see not only what is to come on the Race, but who I will become after.
11. That I am constantly amazed at the support I have received for the Race.
Thank-you for following me so far on this journey.
