We are back in America! How fitting that in just a few days, we will be celebrating our country. I think that is the greatest welcome back that we could experience. Our trip was hugely successful as we experienced many different cultures and lifestyles. But as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz said, there’s no place like home.
Thank you to anybody and everybody that followed our journey this past year. Thank you for all your support, love and prayers. We could feel that love on a daily basis even though separated by thousands of miles. We especially appreciate our parents and their willingness to listen and be part of our journey no matter what time of the day or night we might happen to call.
Thank you to our squad mates. I’m sure everyone thinks their squad is best, but I’m still convinced that ours has something extra special. Honestly and truly, thank you to everyone on the field for sharing your hearts, burdens and lives with us. It was a huge honor to be part of the K Squad this past year.
Thank you to our coaches who sacrificed their personal lives to pour into ours. Mamma C and Pappy are true examples of an extension of Jesus’ love and tenderness.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!! We lived out the Bible and learned much as we went along. Thank you for your faithfulness to us and all your support!
