Well, where to start?!? At first this month I thought was going to be the hardest yet greatest challenge God has put before me. I will be away from my best friend and the person I can always count on. My wife. But I will be with ten other men of God to help me through it. After the four hour bus ride from Bankok to Kanchanaburi and then to our new home for the two weeks I was already excited. We were going to be living on a farm sleeping in what looks like a “Man tree house.” I know I keep using that term “Man” but it really has become evident to me this month.
What does a Man of God look like???
Ok so we wake up and have a Bible study/ prayer time at 7:30 till breakfast at 8:30. Working consist of chopping banana trees down then into small pices for the cows. This takes anywhere from three hours to well all day. We have started a construction project of remolding and fixing up a new housing facility for future groups. Pouring a concrete slab in one day with 105* heat is really not that much fun but this month there is no time for crying!
The family is great. The food is amazing. Fried bugs really aren’t that bad after all! I have had the oppertunity to speak with a few Buddest and God showed up. One more soul for the kingdom!! Please continue to pray for Erin and I as we seek His face daily, apart yet still one. We love you all and thank you for the support.
Seeking His face daily and being the WORRIOR He has called and made me to be!!
