DISCLAIMER: This is somewhat big news, but it is not sad news. Please read through.
For those who haven’t heard, I am leaving the World Race next month.
I will be flying out of Chicago and into Boston on March 6th.
“Casey say whaaaaat?!”
I know, “Crazy!” But really it’s not. I feel a call toward home, and even though I have built a great community here, when God says “Go”, I want to be the man who says “Yes, Lord”.
“Perhaps there is a kind of divine opportunity awareness we can cultivate. Sometimes the opportunity doesn’t involve going to a new place. It means finding a new, previously unrecognized opportunity in the old place.”
– John Ortberg, All the Places to Go…How Will You Know?
“Okay, Casey…what is God calling you to?”
I don’t have all the “right” answers to that question. One recurring theme in my mind is that of family. I have not left things well in my heart with all of them, and I need to spend time diving into that.
“Knowing too many details would take all the excitement out of the adventure.”
– John Ortberg, All the Places to Go…How Will You Know?
You may see this as a “Goodbye” to an opportunity, but I say “Hello” to the many opportunities God is inviting me into!
To all my supporters, many thanks for taking me on a journey that has grown me beyond what I could have imagined. Thank you also for supporting Adventures In Missions, and the great Kingdom work they are doing all around the world!
If you have any further inquires, or thoughts to express, let me know via DM or email, and I’ll do my best to answer.
Thanks again, and God bless!
