We had a few short days in Bangkok to rest before jumping back into ministry. I had been to Bangkok before, so it was nice to be back in the big city. I had been looking forward to the street food – bbq meat and sticky rice. It’s a very large modern city filled with all sorts of things to do. We stayed at a nice hotel with air conditioning and a pool, which helped make the transition in weather and altitude go much smoother. It was a nice break before getting onto another over night bus followed by a long day of waiting in extreme heat to meet up with the South Africans to go to our next ministry destination.
