Cathy and I made it safely to Cairo, Egypt yesterday. We stayed at Delhi airport during the night to catch our early morning flight through Baharain and then to Cairo. To our suprise Baharian is very beautiful – it looks like the perfect vacation spot in the middle east, it’s full of palm trees, grass, pools, and beautiful beaches (at least that is what we saw from the airport and plane).
We found a backpackers near downtown Cairo to stay at. There are lots of little local resturantes to eat at and we are loving the food! I spent most of today just catching up on sleep, and taking a hot/real shower. We’ve even dropped in tempurature from 44degress to only 26 – it’s the perfect temperature out.
