As I get further and further in to the race I realize that anything is truly possible. If you try to think of the craziest thing you can I guarantee that it could, or already has happened on the world race, and that is why I am here today to testify to that.
It was our second to last day in El Salvador before we were getting ready to take off to Honduras, so we had decided to meet up with some of our other squad mates for our last full day. When I had finished getting ready for the afternoon I decide to past the time by going on the shed to play some guitar. The roof top of the shed had become my place of quit time and rest with the Lord and away from people, so it was not unusual for my team to see me up there all the time.
As I was getting through my second song I heard my girls yell and say that everyone was ready to go and that we were leaving. So I hopped up and got my stuff together and headed down. Now out of all the times that I have had my quit time on the roof not once did I ever think that it was unsafe or not sturdy, so maybe that’s why I am so astonished with the next thing I am about ready to tell you.
I had almost made my way to ladder to head down when all of a sudden on my my second to last step as soon as I knew it I was standing in the shed looking up at the huge whole where I had fallen through!
I don’t really think my words would do justice if I tried to explain what was going through my head at that point because it happened so fast but so slow at the same time.
As soon as I knew it my whole team and our ministry host were all running out side screaming my name hoping that they would hear a reply back. My team mate Rose quickly climbed up the ladder surprised to see only my head and guitar sticking out the top of the roof.
Yes its ok you can laugh.

When she had realized that I had literally fallen through the roof she went in to mom mood and started freaking out and getting me down as quickly as she could.
As everyone crowed around me checking my body to make sure nothing was Brocken I realized how lucky had I come to be.
The place where I had fallen was the only area in the whole shed that had boxes with clothes in them. If I would have fallen anywhere else I would have landed on cement or tools (PRAISE GOD)! I had a few scrapes and bruises but nothing terribly bad. My body ached quite a bit but it was nothing that I didn’t get over in just a few days. My guitar also made it out alive with no scraps on it at all!
So as I went through my head thinking about the entire cool story’s that I could tell about me falling through the roof I thought of some pretty sweet ones. I was worshiping so hard the Holy Spirit came right through the roof! Or because we have been doing so much awesome ministry the enemy started freaking out and tried to practically kill me, but whatever the answer is I think the most truthful one I came up with is, welcome to THE WORLD RACE.
