Today we launched.
15 Days after arriving in Uganda.
So many things happened that it feels like much longer than just 15 days.
We’re only at the start of this incredible journey our Lord is leading us on, but I have already experienced so much.
I’ve read more than my share of Training Camp blogs.
I read so many people saying how INCREDIBLE training camp is, but I was still overwhelmed with how incredible it really was.
I remember thinking “And it is only day 2!“
We have an amazing leadership team that was there for us in so many ways, not just leading us.
In training camp I felt my desire for more of the Lord continue to grow when I didn’t think it was possible to want more before hand.
ON TOP of all the growing and learning we did exercises to help determine our team.
our team is called Jehovah’s Pride.
I am very grateful for my team and feel so fortunate to get to know them better.
Back to today–
We knew today was the day to get out and LISTEN to the LORD.
for our squad we are doing things a little different from the norm.
We do not have set ministries, we do not have set hosts, or contacts.
We will listen to the Lord and do as he says.
Just yesterday we prayed as a team for God to tell us where he wants us to disciple.
He told us a few words.

BRING JOY
none of those matched the contacts my teammates made in the past few days that we thought HE could be leading us to. So clearly he has MORE in store.
So this morning we got a ride from some guys, from France my teammate Melo had become friends with, deeper into KAMPALA.
We found where we are staying and we are in the midst of LISTENING to GOD and DOING what HE says.
Tomorrow is looking bright.
We are living Ministry.
