It dawns on me that 99% of the people who read my blog focus on the last 1% of my blogs, so perhaps I’ll just make my blogs one line long from now on. No really, my plan is to blog often and improve as I go. I would rather get into the habit of blogging often now and sacrifice a few early blogs to the bowels of boredom so I can learn all of the features.
This is a hyperlink to Lauren’s Blog because she has pictures of training camp up.
I’ve been really working on how much camp has changed me. One of the prevailing themes that Ben and others kept telling us is
“You’re starting to get it.” What does that mean exactly? It means that for all of us who think there is something else out there… there is. This doesn’t mean that we are done settling. It doesn’t mean that we don’t fit into modern day society. Christians have a number of roles in all walks of life; this is the Father’s design. What this means is that we are starting to believe that we can go out and be awesome for God, in whatever we do. That’s the most encouraging thing I heard in training. What if we went out and were awesome for God? Yeah.
