Language:
The official language, Nepali, is spoken by 44.6% of the population. The other languages spoken in Nepal include Maithali, Bhojpuri, Tharu, Tamang, Newar, Magar, Bajjika, Urdu, Avadhi, Limbu, and Gurung.
Religion:
The largest religious group is Hindu at 81.3% of the population, but others include Buddhist, Muslim, Kirant, and Christian based on a 2011 estimation.

Unique Animals:
Red pandas look more like raccoons than pandas and are slightly larger than a domestic house cat. They are skillful climbers that spend most of their time in the trees curled up with their long, bushy tails wrapped around their heads.
Special Foods:
Momo is a Tibetan style dumpling with Nepalese spices. They were originally filled with buffalo meat but now they are also filled with goat, chicken, or veggies.
Cool Geography:
There are more than 30 natural caves in the country out of which only a few are accessible by road.
The country can be divided into three main geographical regions: Himalayan region, mid hill region and Terai region.
Out of the 14 mountains on earth whose peaks rise above 8,000 meters (26,247 feet!), eight of them are found in Nepal, including Mt. Everest – the highest peak on earth.
Fun things to do:
Nepal is known for adventurous activities such as: mountaineering, paragliding, skydiving, rafting, and bungee jumping. There is also almost always some type of festival going on year round because of diversity in ethnic groups.
