For the past 2 weeks or so, I have been living in Mozambique Africa. Is this really happening? I’m still waiting to wake up from this dream.
Currently our task here in Chokwe, Mozambique is to help paint a school that our ministry host runs. We are painting rooms with fresh coats of white and cream and we are painting the new preschool a rainbow of colors!! Right now, this is our main point of focus, however we’ve also been busy with Youth Club, Bible Studies, Prayer Meetings, and church services.
The past several days I have come home and looked down at my swollen feet, covered in gravel and paint and said to myself “These dirty feet”… don’t get me wrong, it’s not a complaint…. in fact, as I looked at them I was reminded of all that had been taking place, and where my feet have taken me this month. These dirty feet represent travel, work, play, exercise, and so much more…they have gotten me around, gotten me through, and gotten me over, they are taking me higher, and further than I ever dreamed. Here’s to “these dirty feet” for ten more months!
How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news. Rom. 10:15
