Hey Everyone,

I am leaving  Rwanda in a day and have had a great time. We have had a great month, and we stayed with a local pastor here in Kigali named James. He is an awesome man and is so nice and gave us everything we needed as if we were part of his family. Our ministry consisted of going around the villages here and talking with the people and praying for anything that they were in need of. It was an awesome experience and we met all the locals here and they were so nice to us
.
I have learned a lot about what it means to actually show love and recieve it in a community like this. It has been a great lesson to learn and I think it is probably the most important lesson so far that i have learned. I think that the most important thing that we can do as humans is show love towards everyone….. and it will bring joy and happiness into that person's life. I think that it is a great lesson that should be understood better by Americans and in the churches at home. Love is to me the most important thing that we can express and love can be understood universally so easily. It is as easy as hugging a little kid or just smiling and waving to people as you pass by……it can change how that peron is feeling at that moment and make them feel alive. I have felt so loved here in Rwanda, and it has really reminded me about how important it is to show people that we care about them.

Thank you for all of your support while i have been out here on theWorld Race. I am having the time of my life and enjoying every minute of it. Time seems to be flying by…… because i cannot believe how fast it is going by and that it will be the start of month 8 in two days. Actually today is day 200 of being gone and traveling the world which is a great feeling…… so thank you to all my supporters !!

I will be going to South Sudan next month with all of the guys that are in my squad and really looking forward to the new opportunity. It will be nice to have a month of just doing guy stuff and not having the girls around, ha ha……. i love and will miss them but it will be a nice break. The girls will be going to Uganda and they will do their ministry there. When the month is over we will reunite and go rafting down the Nile River and I am planning on going bungee jumping over the Nile River too     (don't tell mom and dad :)…… so pumped !!

Thank You !!
Love,
Carter
