“You’re the reason we came, to encounter Your love, Your love surrounds us.”
Currently sitting in the Atlanta Airport, awaiting departure for our very first flight to our very first country!!! WHAT?!?!?!
We’ve been here in Atlanta, GA for 5 days, preparing to launch for The World Race and today is the day! All the feels are all over the place but the one that stands out the most is excitement! Excitement to officially begin this crazy, amazing, 11 month journey and to see how God uses us to build His kingdom!
ATL (Ask The Lord) has been a huge takeaway from the last few days at Launch. It is about spending time in prayer/silence and asking God for an opportunity to share Jesus with someone. I’m still processing and learning how to embrace ATL because it is something I’ve never experienced before. Asking The Lord to provide a word or reveal something through silence seems so tricky to me. Like how can I differentiate if it is a word from God or a word I’ve conjured myself?
Through attempting to understand/apply this, I’ve found that discussing it with Him, teammates, leaders, and mentors that God will reveal His perfect word, in His perfect timing, for His people to bring glory to His kingdom. It’s definitely something God is going to call me into so that I can grow and walk in His perfect love and to spread this across the world. It’s something God is working through me for sure, and it can be difficult to share my struggle with it with everyone but an AWESOME teammate (Hannah) spoke so much truth in our discussion about ATL and said “People relate more to struggle than perfection.”
So as I officially begin this journey today, I ask The Lord to provide a word, a word that will speak so much truth over me, call me out, and change me radically. I feel like its been a long road getting here but the journey has only just begun! My heart is sooooo FULL and I can’t wait to share EVERYTHING with you guys!!!!!
PLOT TWIST: Due to some political uprising in Nicaragua we will be traveling to GUATEMALA instead in October for month 3!!!!!

I’m still fundraising!!!!!! I am about 70% funded which is so awesome!!! My next deadline is to be 100% funded by November 30th 2018! Currently, I still need $5,590 to get there! Y’all, God has been soooo good in providing these funds thus far! Like I still can’t fathom the fact that we have raised $13,010!!!! So PLEASE help me get over this final financial hurdle so that I can radically chase Jesus, share him with others, love on His people, and bring glory to His Kingdom!
