Leaving the United States to go into the mission field is something that has been on my mind for a long time now. Is this Gods calling, or is this my desire to see the world and spread the word along the way. truthfully for me I think it is both. but what is Gods calling? does the bible say to leave everything you know and love and to expand the kingdom of heaven? Absolutely it does! Mathew 28:19 Go and make disciples of every nation. The Great Commission. 1John 2:6 whoever says he abides in him ought to walk in the same way in which he walked. Several times he encourages us to imitate christ and who he was. Going about all the lands and proclaiming the good news. This is very exciting to me. We have the opportunity to do just as jesus did.1Peter 2:21 for to this you have been called because christ also suffered for you leaving you as an example so that you might follow in his steps. The world Race is more then the next steps in my life. It is what I am here for, what we are all here for. To spread the news that Jesus is my christ and savior.
