As the holiday season is approaching, I encourage you to spend your money elsewhere this year. Please prayerfully consider donating to one of the following ministries or organizations below. Often we are skeptical about giving online because we aren’t sure where the money goes, but everyday my squad mates and I see the good these organizations do. “Now that I have seen, I am responsible.” If you don’t feel the Lord asking you to give to one of these ministries, please consider partnering with a local organization in your hometown.
Just give.
“When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.” Luke 12:48
-Raising Up Hope for Uganda: (beautifulresponse.org) One of the teams on my squad worked with RUHU in Uganda. I had the opportunity to do ministry with them one day, and I loved it. This organization helps provide for kids in the slums and street kids that can have a safe place to go. They also have a school and a safe house. Please consider donating to this organization as I have see the way they are helping children in the slums of Uganda.

This is Patrick. He is the founder of RUHU. He is one of the funniest men I have ever met and he has such a love for Jesus and life in general.

This is Paul. He is 9 years old, but he looks much younger because of malnutrition and being mistreated at home. He goes to the school at RUHU.
-The Hope Foundation: (hopefoundation.co.ke) The Hope Foundation sponsors the Manna Worldwide schools, and my team worked with them in Mombasa, Kenya. Please consider donating or sponsoring a child. I have seen the impact and change this organization is making in Kenya. I have seen the children, the teachers that love them, and the sponsor letters that the children have received and how they light up when they get a letter addressed to them.

It was such a fun day to get to see the students at Good News Primary School receive letters from their sponsors then get to respond back to them.

Lunch time is crazy, but kinda cute too.

This is a few of my teammates with teachers at Good News Primary School. They love their students so well and take care of the children as their own.

-Endihnew Hope: (https://www.facebook.com/EndihnewHope/) Our squad has a team in Ethiopia working with this ministry, and they are in great need of sponsors as well. Endihnew Hope is an indigenous charity organization based on Entoto Mountain and has been helping the local community through sponsorship programs since 2007. The locals have very poor living conditions on the mountain. Most settlers in the area are HIV carriers which has also resulted in a lot of rejection in the work field (which opportunity is already slim on the mountain). Most of the children struggle with starvation, poverty, and disease. During our home visits, we have found that families on average are eating about 3-4 meals a week total, often only consisting of half a piece of bread.

-Also please prayerfully consider partnering with myself or my teammates Kristin, James, or Brooks. We are still not fully funded for the World Race, and our final financial deadline is December 31st! You can find our blogs below:

Our time in Africa has been so good. The Lord is working and moving in so many places and with so many organizations that we have gotten to partner with over the past 3 months. I am sad to be leaving Africa, but I am so grateful for the people that will be staying behind to continue to build the Kingdom. It’s such a beautiful thing to have brothers and sisters in Christ all over the world.
We’re doing the thing!
Much love, Carson
