Dear friends and family,
God has presented me with the opportunity of a lifetime and I want YOU to be a part of it with me! Next January I will be embarking on an 11-month journey into 11 different countries across the globe. I will be leaving with a group of about 40 others through Adventures in Missions called the World Race to travel the globe and spread the Word of God. My adventure will take me to the following countries in order starting from departure in Atlanta: Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, India, Nepal, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Romania, and Ukraine from there I will return to Atlanta.
This adventure will not be easy and is meant to test young adults and make them grow in their faith through different missions in different countries as well as being away from the comfort of home. I hope to grow spiritually and mentally while I am away and return a better and stronger individual. I will be living out of a backpack and traveling to different locations for a month at a time. During this time I will need each and every one of your prayers to help strengthen me and keep me going. However, none of this will be able to happen if I do not prepare and gain the support needed in the months leading up to my departure. Being away for 11 months as well as traveling to so many different locations will be an expensive journey so I will need a lot of help.
In order to go on this adventure I will need to raise a total of $20,000 by next April. This money covers every meal, place to stay, and even flights/trains between each country. This is an incredible amount of money, but I know that it can be done with the help and support of each and every one of you. In addition to money needed for general expenses I also have to purchase any travel equipment I may need. Even the smallest donation can go a long way in obtaining my goal. Even if you are not able to donate personally there are still ways to support. A friend or relative of your own may have the desire to support and help and just waiting to have the opportunity to do so. I do not know every one nor can I reach many, but even the few that you can reach will help tremendously. Outside of financial support I ask that you pray any chance you get in support of me reaching my goal. Money is very important, but your prayers are the biggest support I can receive.
