Hello friends and family! Sorry for the wait but wifi is so limited where I am! I’m doing well and in good health! I just wanted to update you all!

It’s been such a journey already the first few short days I’ve been on this mission with traveling and all kinds of fun! Our flight was cancelled and we ended up sleeping in the airport floor (which isn’t bad as it sounds… I slept at least 5 hours)! It gave us such a great opportunity to bond and just be with each other. We luckily traded two long flights for one non-stop flight to Johannesburg! For people who don’t fly, that was so amazing because it meant no layovers and fighting our way through another airport! It was such a blessing definitely and worked in our favor giving us a little more rest! God knew what he was doing because travel days are extremely exhausting! I usually get so nervous and anxious when bigs things don’t go as planned I felt so much peace through it all!

God has definitely been moving in me these past few days with that experience. There have been many things that haven’t gone quite as planned which would normally throw me off completely and cause so much anxiety. I thrive off of having a schedule and sticking to that schedule…but we haven’t had one or known what to expect most of the time! It’s been really refreshing just living in the moment and taking it all in what God has right in front of me. So many times I catch myself in the whats next and when that I don’t live in the now. I focus of what’s ahead rather than what’s right in front of me. And what’s right in front of me is the opportunity to show people the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit! And also beautiful Africa hills and mountains!

With that, my hope through out my short time here in Swaziland is just to connect and be still with people. Not think about what to say or how to do it but be fully authentic and present with those around me and the Spirit. It’s never been so easy to be myself.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog! This is only the beginning!!
