Hello everyone,
this will be my final post to you.
From here at least.
From the beginning of learning about World Race Gap Year, I knew I ultimately wanted to do World Race 11n11 (11 countries in 11 months)
Over the past month or so, there has been a lot going on and fundraising for this trip has been stressing me out more than I can handle. I have been praying constantly for a sign that Gap Year is where I am supposed to be. A sign for funding mostly. Ultimately, I was trying to convince myself that this is where God was calling me. But instead of a sign for Gap Year, my heart has been telling me that 11n11 is where I am supposed to be. With that being said, I’ve been praying about World Race and I truly feel like that is where God is calling me to be. However, since the starting age for World Race is 21, I will have to wait until next year.
With that being said, for the time being I will be home, working at the Donut Shoppe, babysitting, and then going on a THREE month mission trip with Adventures in Missions called Passport!
In January, I will leave for Africa and travel to Zambia, South Africa, and Botswana in Southern Africa to share the love of Jesus. I will serve with local ministries to equip the local church with training for kids, youth, and camp ministries in the rural and urban areas. My new team and I will help strengthen the local church, share the Gospel and teach of Christ, volunteer in local schools, show the abandoned and alone their true worth and identities as sons and daughters of God, and build foundations that will last a lifetime.
Although it saddens me to leave my Gap Year squad, I am ready for this new journey God has planned for me. My Gap Year squad will always be my family and I plan to stay in touch with them. They are definitely lifelong friends. I am truly a better person for meeting them and I cannot thank them enough for all that they have done for me. We have been through so much together and I hope that they understand how much they mean to me. I cannot wait to see all that God has planned for them and hear all the amazing things that they do and accomplish while they are on Gap Year. God truly blessed me with them and I can only pray that my new squad is as amazing and inviting as Gap Year.
Since Passport only does team blogs, I have made a new blog. If you would like to stay involved with my journey, please subscribe to

I’m still getting the hang of it so a blog will be up shortly.
Much love and blessings,
