After flying into Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, we then drove to San Juan which is where we will be serving this month in ministry. Our contacts are some of the sweetest people. They are both pastors and teachers. Both of their wives are teachers as well. We started ministry with them this past Sunday by attending their church service and worshiping with them in song. Below is a picture of the church in which we are ministering this month.
This month, we are staying in San Juan, however, for ministry we are in a small village outside of San Juan. The name of the village is Mogollon. Our ministry, this month, consist of ministry with children, as well as, spending time each day building relationships with some of the adult members of the church. We are loving on them and ministering to them. Many times the only focus of missionary work is winning new souls to Christ. However, God is using us this month to minister to the souls of the believers. Fellowship is one of the most important essentials to the life of a Christian.
The children are precious and the families that we are ministering with are truly generous and loving Christians.The church membership totals about 50-60. However, out of all the members about 30-40 of them are children. Please pray for our team to show the love of Christ this month, as well as, be sensitive to the voice of God and His direction toward the people that we should spread the gospel with.
