So, this month I have a new family, Team Haven. I was concerned going into team changes that I might not be as blessed as I was with Team Z’man, but it turns out God’s plans are ever more amazing than I could imagine and I love my new team. I will be in Romania again this month. Due to team changes, some World Racers are repeating a country instead of going to a new place. All the other members of my team were in Ireland or Moldova last month. This month’s countries are Moldova and Romania, so someone was bound to have a repeat. Initially I was disappointed, but then I remembered that Romania has been my favorite country so far and I was being silly.
Our ministry this month is Gypsy outreach (which I can tell you nothing about because our first visit to the Gypsy villages is next Wednesday) and street evangelism (usually at universities or in the city square). Most of the young people here speak English and they are always excited to practice it. I’ve met a few young women that I hope to spend some more time with, possibly go to the zoo or a movie, just build relationships and LOVE.
