The time for our last continent before the return to the ol’ US of A has come… Europe.
But let me fill you in on what we like to call TRAVEL DAY(s)…
Nearly 60 hours of travel from Manzini, Swaziland to Ivankiv, Ukraine included a lengthy layover in Istanbul, Turkey. I gladly took advantage of this opportunity, especially after the day I’d been having:
-stomach “issues”
-apple juice spewed in my face
-hot coffee spilled down my front
-coke spilled down my back
to name a few comical joys of traveling in large groups.
Things turned around when I got to talk to David Hasselhoff in Joburg, then when I experienced the clash of Eurasia. And this is a little taste of what it was like… enjoy!
