-With the garage sale raising $1,200 plus several very generous donations, I have surpassed my first goal of $5,000 (needed by launch) and am now pressing toward my next goal of $10,000 needed by month 3 on the field. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed both time and materials to this event, it was quite the success! Stay tuned for info on the next sale.
-I got some vaccines! This came at no small price, but I did receive a “missionary discount”
-I am selling bracelets! THREADS OF HOPE is an organization that helps the economically oppressed in under-developed countries by using enterprises to help families have some type of income. You can read more about their ministry here. I have partnered with TOH and will be selling bracelets made by people of the Philippines working with this ministry. Part of the proceeds will go towards my World Race fund and the rest will go straight back to the people who made them, helping them with their physical, educational, and spiritual needs.
