‘Koinonia’ is our team name. It’s the greek word for fellowship, but it goes deeper than just our common use of the word. It means a communion together that leads unto action. We discussed this at training camp and were just enthralled. What a perfect name for what we are about to embark on. The nature of this trip means we will know each other well, the good and the bad… and that out of this year we will be a changed people and hopefully see the world changed too. These are the 6 people I am temporarily married to.
They are: Stephanie Webster, Alex Cole (our Team Leader), Michele Hop, Jonathan Beckman, Me, Mary Hollis, and Kirsten George, and for some reason for our first team photo we ended up getting fake facial hair from a vending machine.
