Im literally sitting here just staring at the screen.

Our organization when they put this site together for us to write our stories – has these little things to encourage us.

Like this phrase at the top of the page blazing “Write your amazing blog post!” but I still don’t even know what to write.

I am so tired.

What have I done the last two weeks?

Well there were travel days and I volunteered back to back at two different conferences. And then there was an alumni cook out at a local park in Jacksonville the morning after the 75000 people conference…

After that we left Jacksonville for Orlando.

We were super privileged to have one of our teammates Grandmothers let us use her timeshare for 4 days – which we have known about since the second week of our trip – and have been subsequently looking forward to this sabbatical the entire time.

But I spent a lot of the time there preparing for an event proposal.

Our team is preparing to host an event in August and I have to get things rolling with media invitation so people won’t have already made their summer plans and will be able to come.

Also, Im just always thinking “too” much and trying to be helpful – but you know…may or may not be as needed as I think. So I guess that’s all tired me out.

But then…you know. When I get time just to do nothing, I get exhausted from that, and then you know, need a rest from my rest.

Ug.

I’m banking on you knowing what I’m talking about!

.

So…since I’m low on words I thought I’d share some photos – with a sentence about it.

We were able to take down the entire fence destroyed in hurricane Michael for this sweet older couple struggling to get it done themselves – and put up a new one as well as remove all the nails and screws and staples in the last in one day! We were rewarded with a delicious and abundant dinner and good company!

We were able to bless this school in helping the teachers with different activities.

Some of the team decorated teachers doors! So cute, right?

 Helped at this conference…

…got fed really well!

And then help at another conference the next day…

Checkout the 75000 people event here…

(I didn’t really take any pictures myself)

The next morning we had an alumni cook out and were super blessed to have a bunch of God loving people loving people come! And even got to bless some people in the park!

This is where we got to stay for the few nights we were in Jacksonville for The Send and meeting up with alumni. The family brought in their (usually rented out AirBNB) RV so we could use it!

This is a real world race America team meeting on the sidewalk moment!

Then we got a few days of sabbath!

This is a few of the team watching Survivor together 🙂

We even went out as a team and played some Pirate Putt-Putt thanks to Candace and another Alumni friend :’)

We had so much fun and I can’t wait to do another team activity like this again!

Once we got here to Panama City three of us (myself in that 3) went ATLing and got to see God confirm our being here and doing this.

The other members of the team went to work in the devastated part of the city…

  – and also got super blessed to work alongside a group of older people super pouring themselves out on behalf of others!

When we got back, one of our teammates who hadn’t felt well had dinner all prepared for us. (A lot of us are participating in fasts of different sorts to sow into what God is doing in America right now).

I’m reveling in eating so much fresh food! (Plus! Banana coins! Shout out to the Haverherd!)

This morning (it’s Sunday) we had a service on the beach together, which started out with worship. It was a beautiful morning although it was supposed to be raining – and all we had to do was cross the road to access the white sand.

Dosson, one of our team leaders, challenged us to pray about where we are crying out “Lord! I’m drowning!” and to let go of that and walk in trust of the Lord.

He pointed out our perfectly situated visual of waves that with every lap move in obedience to the Lords laid boundaries since the foundation of the world.

He paralleled Matthew 8:23-27 with verses from Psalm 107:23-32 (and 89:9).

It was an encouraging and powerful word and created a special time for our team together on the beach.

Later that day an alumni came over and super blessed us with dinner!

YUM!

I can not over emphasize the amazing ways we have been blessed by people ALL along our trip! A huge shout out to each and every person for the way that you have blessed us! Thank You! :’)

And that’s it for now folks!

I don’t have much amazing things to share tonight – except that I follow an AMAZING God, who has blessed me so much by inviting me on this journey.

And I’m so grateful that you have accepted my invitation to join me!

Have a great week!
