Take an extrovert and place her on a team of introverts.

I can’t say that I haven’t noticed her eyes when all she wants to do on down time is talk and run around town…

She embodies long-suffering and patience.

She holds back how much she is trying. She will cook, do dishes, and silently clean up.

Jess is a life giver.

She takes every opportunity to speak life over the situation, into the conversation.

Clears her throat and purses her lips before slowly letting out encouragement.

She laughs when she is uncertain of how her words will be taken.

But I have seen Jess as a leader.

She is bold, and she knows her own thoughts.

I believe her prayers tear apart spiritual attacks.

She is a listener and a laughter partner.

She embodies the pure trust that the Lord longs for, and the silly childish pleasures He made us for.

She is a person who longs for clarity, and follow through.

She is willing.

She is obedient.

She is a loyal friend and willing to call out b******t.

She may not want to, but she will.

Jess is a fish.

If there is water, she will be in it.

Jess is not afraid. She doesn’t know it yet. But she isn’t.

Jess lives out her faith. She is a pioneer and an adventure partner!

Jess is a person who thrives on making mundane alive.

Jess is a person who laughs with Jesus.

Romans 12:15

Rejoice with those who rejoice, weep with those who weep.

Do you feel like God rejoices with you?

When He makes your prayers become answers manifested physically in your life, does He shout “YEA!!!” and dance?

…History records that when he made each thing He saw that it was good.

Sounds like a moment of dancing.

How about your weeping?

Do you feel God weeps with you?

Checkout this story from John 11:

The sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.”

…Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.

When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death.” …

He went on to tell them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going there to wake him up.”

His disciples replied, “Lord, if he sleeps, he will get better.”

So then he told them plainly, “Lazarus is dead”…

On his arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. When Martha heard that Jesus was coming, she went out to meet him…

Jesus said to her, “Your brother will rise again.”…

Now Jesus had not yet entered the village, but was still at the place where Martha had met him [when Mary came to him]. …

When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled.  “Where have you laid him?” he asked.

“Come and see, Lord,” they replied.

 Jesus wept.

Knowing what He was about to do, knowing he had all authority and power to raise Lazerous, knowing that the man was about to be alive again, Jesus stopped and wept…

Why?

….

I fully believe Jesus laughs with you and weeps with you.

Some people get the invitation to laugh, or to weep with Him too.

Are you one of those people?
